چکیده
Genetic diversity analysis is a pre-requisite to develop improve variety of any crop. Hence, 39 SSR markers were used analyze the genetic local chilli cultivars. PCR-amplified microsatellite loci shown be polymorphic in all investigated The locus, CAMS-647 produced highest number alleles (8) ranging size from 188 279 bp. PIC values for primers ranged 0.099 locus Hpms 1-165 0.806 CAMS-679. All SSRs examined informative characterizing genotypic variance samples while 12 more with higher (> 0.6). There was wide range varied 0.117 (HpmsE075) (CAMS-647), whereas (1.713) and lowest (0.205) value Shannon’s Information Index registered CAMS-679 1-165, respectively. degree differentiation (0.927) lower amount gene flow (0.010). Nei’s distance (GD) 0.100 0.990. Among 96 cultivars, 55 had distinct status dendrogram GD 0.6), 41 cultivars showed close relationship yielded values.

Transferability of microsatellite markers of Capsicum annuum L. to C. frutescens L. and C. chinense Jacq.
In order to support further genetic, diversity, and phylogeny studies of Capsicum species, the transferability of a Capsicum annuum L. simple sequence repeat (SSR) microsatellite set was analyzed for C. frutescens L. ("malagueta" and "tabasco" peppers) and C. chinense Jacq. (smell peppers, among other types). A total of 185 SSR primers were evaluated in 12 accessions from 115 C. frutescens L. a...

Two methods were used to develop pineapple microsatellite markers. Genomic library-based SSR development: using selectively amplified microsatellite assay, 86 sequences were generated from pineapple genomic library. 91 (96.8%) of the 94 Simple Sequence Repeat (SSR) loci were dinucleotide repeats (39 AC/GT repeats and 52 GA/TC repeats, accounting for 42.9% and 57.1%, resp.), and the other three ...
متن کاملGenotoxicity Effect of Ethyl Methanesulfonate on Root Tip Cells of Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)
Ethyl methanesulfonate is a synthetic compound widely used as a mutagen, teratogen and brain carcinogen and as a research chemical. While, the toxicity and carcinogenicity of ethyl methanesulfonate on humans and animals have been studied, less is known about its genotoxicity to plants. In this study, the genotoxic effects of ethyl methanesulfonate were investigated with growing chilli seedlings...

Chilli plants botanically referred to as genus Capsicum is the member of Solananceae family. It is the native to the Tropical South America and Brazil. The genus Capsicum consists of about 20species and only four species are under cultivation, out of which C. pendulum and C. pubescens are restricted to the South and Central America. The other two species such as C. annuum and C. frutescens are ...
